Happy Baby Portraits are easy at Ellenburg Photography. When you get here, I simply stand in front of your child and I will get the biggest smile you have ever seen. Yes, it is true. But I can't do that magic without parents working hard to do the homework. Pre-shoot homework is a must for parents to relax and enjoy the magic and FUN of the portrait session. While there might be 4-5 things on the homework list, the most important is REST. If you bring in a well rested baby, this will happen.
Meet Augustus. He was wide awake with no rest, until his Mom started driving to our Saraland Studio. It's not a long drive for her, so guess what she did? She around longer, ensuring he had a long enough nap not to be crabby. 15 minute naps are bad. 45 minute naps are fabulous.
Meet Baby James. He arrived sleeping and this was his first portrait set up. Note the baby smile. Also, note his sneakiness. Mom and Dad said he refuses to sit up. But look at him. Magic really happens in front of our lens and we love it. Baby James is a member of the milestone Baby club. He will be back with me at 9 months. I miss him already.
Baby Luke is the new guy in our Milestone plan. He arrived for his 3 months session sleeping and this was his first portrait of the day.
Remember Rest is the key to amazing baby portraits. Naps are good for them and great for you. I'm not saying that I'm THE Baby Whisper (or am I) but these are just a few of the babies photographed yesterday. Bring your sleeping baby over for bunny portraits.
